DE LA SALUD ECOPARK

Located 10 minutes away from the city limits of Cali, this park belongs to the Pance River’s Ecological Ecopark, which lies along the banks of the Pance River.

This river is one of the most important rivers of the city, not just for being in charge of pouring the water around it, but also for comprising one of the major tourist and recreational destinations.  It is the perfect meeting place for Cali families on weekends and holidays, and the Parque de la Salud has been responsible for all the entertainment and fun.

This park has sports fields, nature trails, fishing lake, outdoor gym, nightclub, restaurants and different booths where you can taste the cuisine of Cali and Valle del Cauca in general.  It's a great choice for outdoor sports in a natural environment, away from all the noise and stress of the city, and is one of the favorite places for various sports coaches to train their athletes as well.

Finally, families, friends and athletes have the opportunity to dive into the cold waters of the crystalline river as a therapeutic ritual or a form of relaxation.

The Ecopark will host the orienteering competitions in the categories of middle distance and relay in The World Games 2013. Portable grandstands for spectators will be in place for those who wish to watch the expert athletes with compasses and maps, in a rigorous path through this natural forest, searching for checkpoints; where the world medals will be awarded to the winners.
